MAP Grants (Membership Assistance Program)

The SGA distributes grants provided through funding from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund. The Membership Assistance Program (MAP GRANTS) are intended to help member clubs encourage and expand participation in golf through sports skills development.

The grants are available annually, and are allocated on a using a formula based on the previous year's SGA membership remittance. Payment is made on completion of the program and receipt of documentation and reports.

Capital projects are not eligible, nor is funding of players for tournaments and competitions. Group lessons for juniors or adults, support of junior development programs, skills development and rules workshops and like activities qualify for support. The club is expected to provide 25 per cent of the cost from its own funds.

NOTE: If your club has not submitted payment for the current years membership cards, the MAP Grant cheque will not be mailed.
